Implementing Resolution No. 50 of the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee on supporting housing construction for people with revolutionary contributions, martyrs' relatives; poor and near-poor households in Lao Cai province until 2025, in the period of 2024 - 2025, Muong Khuong district was assigned to build 3,773 houses, of which 3,683 new houses were built and 90 houses were repaired. In 2024, the whole district started building 1,590 houses; the remaining number will be built in 2025, with 2,183 houses. To complete the set goal, the district organized a competition to launch "90 days and nights to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the area.
With the spirit of "leaving no one behind" and creative ways of doing things, up to now, the whole district has completed 3,795/3,773 houses, equal to 100.85% of the plan; the total resources mobilized for the program are more than 600 billion VND.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the entire political system of Muong Khuong district in implementing the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. He requested the district to promptly organize the acceptance of payment and settlement for households in accordance with regulations, paying attention to the handover to the new commune-level government after the merger and consolidation from July 1. The (new) commune-level government urgently issues land use right certificates to households that have not been granted land use right certificates by the district government...
On this occasion, 8 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for their achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland; many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee...
