Successfully detonated a bomb weighing nearly 130 kg in Dak Lieng commune

On July 9, the Engineering Department (Dak Lak Provincial Military Command) coordinated with relevant units to detonate a bomb discovered in Dak Lieng commune.

After more than a session of meticulous and careful handling, at about 1:00 p.m. the same day, the engineering soldiers and related forces safely detonated the bomb.

Authorities moved the bomb to the detonation site.

Previously, on July 4, while excavating the hill behind the house to build the house foundation and anti-landslide slope, Mr. Bui Tan Huong's family (Doan Ket 1 village, Dak Lieng commune) suddenly discovered a strange cylindrical object. Upon inspection, the object was identified as a bomb, weighing about 127 kg, about 20 cm wide and about 90 cm long.

Upon receiving the news, the Dak Lieng Commune Military Command sealed off the scene and assigned officers and soldiers to protect it in accordance with regulations on handling explosives to ensure absolute safety for the people.
