Stable manufacturing business

The province currently has over 15,500 operating enterprises. In the first months of the year, despite many difficulties due to many objective factors, many enterprises said that production was relatively stable and growing.

Saturn Engineering Systems Vietnam Co., Ltd. is an export processing enterprise in Hoa Phu Industrial Park. The enterprise has 100% capital from the US with a registered capital of 20 million USD, a project area of nearly 3 hectares and will be operational from September 2022. According to the enterprise leader, the company's main production is horizontal hydraulic jacks, producing all kinds of jacks (me ke), sub-assemblies and hydraulic jack parts. Revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached over 159 billion VND, export reached over 151 billion VND.

Meanwhile, the company operates in the production and processing of spare parts, auxiliary parts, components, and equipment for automobiles and other motor vehicles. This is an industry that is encouraged for investment. Kyungshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% Korean-owned company currently operating in Hoa Phu Industrial Park.

Through the grasp of the production and business situation, in the first 6 months of the year, revenue reached over 159 billion VND, exports reached over 155 billion VND. According to the company's leaders, thanks to the attention of the provincial leaders, the business's operations have been stable. The production and business situation in the first months of the year was good and continued to receive new orders...

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the export turnover in the first 7 months of 2025 is estimated to reach over 2.1 billion USD (up 14.23% over the same period) with key export groups such as: textiles, frozen seafood; processed and fresh vegetables and fruits; chemicals, electronic components, machinery and equipment. The export market continues to expand to member countries of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans -Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and Europe thanks to taking advantage of incentives from Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) such as EVFTA, RCEP, CPTPP. Notably, the US market continues to be the main export partner, accounting for about 20-25% of the total export turnover of the province.

Diversified export markets

According to the Provincial People's Committee, in the last months of 2025, the province strives to achieve the target of total export turnover of over 2.7 billion USD. However, the Provincial People's Committee also assessed that the US applying a 20% reciprocal tax rate on goods imported directly from Vietnam will pose many potential risks to the province's export activities.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, for the US market, in the first 7 months of 2025, the province's export turnover (after the merger) to the US market continued to maintain growth momentum, estimated at 660 million USD, an increase of about 25% over the same period last year. Main export items include: coconut milk, coconut cream, coconut water, seafood, textiles, fresh coconut, fruits, etc. From August 1, the US officially applied a 20% reciprocal tax rate on Vietnamese goods.

This is creating many difficulties for the province's export enterprises such as high export costs, making selling prices in the US market less competitive than goods from other countries; profits plummet when enterprises are forced to lower prices to retain customers, even facing the risk of losses; some import partners in the US suspend or cancel orders, leading to inventory and additional costs... Frozen shrimp in particular is facing fierce competition from India, Ecuador, Indonesia...

The representative of Saturn Engineering Systems Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that currently, the company is operating stably, the main export market is the United States. However, due to the application of new tariffs, the company has also taken proactive measures to seek new markets to minimize the impact, striving to diversify the market to take the initiative.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the context of exports to the US market, the provincial business community has proposed a number of support solutions such as preferential credit support, tax and social insurance payment deferral. At the same time, it is necessary to promote trade and expand alternative markets such as the EU, Japan, Korea, the Middle East, etc.

Support market diversification and enhance competitiveness, aiming to maintain sustainable exports in the new context. At the same time, support businesses in technological innovation and product improvement to meet high technical standards. The business community also recommends that the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies soon negotiate with the US to review the reciprocal tax rate.

Tasks and solutions

To achieve the export target in 2025, the Provincial People's Committee also proposed a number of tasks and solutions to implement the export target, which is to continue monitoring the world market situation, price developments, trade policies and tariffs of countries, especially the reciprocal tax policy of the United States.

Timely summarize opinions and difficulties of enterprises to proactively have support solutions according to authority or report recommendations to central ministries and branches for consideration and handling. Promote exploitation and effective use of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) such as CPTPP, EVFTA, RCEP... to expand export markets, diversify trade partners, reduce dependence on some traditional markets...

The province will increase support for enterprises to improve their export capacity through international trade promotion, brand development, and design improvement. At the same time, continue to implement the National Power Development Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 (Power Plan VIII) and the adjusted Power Plan VIII, with the goal of gradually forming a local renewable energy export center. In addition, create conditions to attract investment in the export production sector, especially supporting industries, agricultural and aquatic product processing, textiles, etc. to increase the proportion of high value-added exports.
