Merging Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province

On the morning of August 22, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province held a conference to announce the decision to merge the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province (old) and the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Phu Yen province into the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province.

Representatives of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province (old) and the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Phu Yen province (old) signed the handover minutes.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, relevant departments, branches and units.

The conference announced Decision No. 0557/QD-UBND, dated July 28, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on merging the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province (old) and the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Phu Yen province into the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province.

Mr. Pham Quang Hung, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province (old) spoke at the conference.

The Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province (old) currently has 1,685 members, the Executive Committee consists of 21 members; the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Phu Yen province (old) currently has 1,100 members, the Executive Committee consists of 19 members. After the merger, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province has 33 members; Ms. H'Yim Kđoh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Buon Ho ward holds the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province.

The conference also approved the list of the Executive Committee; draft assignment of tasks for the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province; discussed; signed the minutes of handover of assets, finance, and related documents of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province (old) and the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Phu Yen province (old) to the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province.
