Honor 100 Pro launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, price from 440 USD

According to Gadget Tendency , in its statement, Honor said that the Honor 100 Pro offers DSLR-level photography capabilities. The company even demonstrated photos taken with the main camera on the product to compare with photos taken with the iPhone 15 camera.

Honor 100 Pro confidently reaches DSLR level

Honor 100 Pro becomes the world's first smartphone equipped with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 main sensor with a resolution of 100 MP and a fairly large pixel size of 2 microns. Combined with that is a 32 MP sensor and a telephoto lens for super zoom photography needs. Both support hybrid image stabilization (optical and digital). Finally, the third module comes with a 12 MP sensor with a 112-degree ultra-wide-angle lens that supports autofocus. This module is suitable for macro photography because the minimum focusing distance is only 2.5 cm.

On the front, the Honor 100 Pro is equipped with a 50 MP Sony IMX816 sensor that supports autofocus and an F/2.0 aperture. Besides, there is also a 2 MP sensor used to analyze the depth of the scene.

The Honor 100 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3,840Hz pulse width modulation frequency to ensure no flickering. Inside the phone is the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The 5,000 mAh battery supports 100W fast charging and 66W wireless charging. Other features include loud stereo speakers, NFC chip and C1 chip that can determine the best cell tower to connect to and when Wi-Fi is available, the phone can easily switch between networks.

The Honor 100 Pro runs MagicOS 7.2 and comes in four color options : Black, White, Blue, and Purple, the latter two of which feature a clean design with faux leather back. The phone starts at $480 for the 12/256GB configuration and goes up to $620 for the 16GB/1TB configuration.
