“Tu mo” is a newly released MV by singer Hong Nhung, with meticulous and elaborate investment. This is a song composed by Lope Pham, arranged by musician Le Thanh Tam, in the R&B style. This music project is accompanied by two young artists, Trung Tran and Lope Pham, along with choreographer Tan Loc and the Arabesque dance troupe.
“Tu cau” is directed by Phuong Vu, one of the most prominent faces of the young creative community in Vietnam today. “Tu cau” is a sad love song but not gloomy or hopeless, but always full of faith, looking towards the future, waiting for a happy day.
The MV features young artists, so the colors are fresh and modern. The same goes for singer Hong Nhung's singing style. Music lovers know the female singer through Trinh Cong Son's sweet, experienced love songs or love songs about Hanoi , through her technical singing style, voice processing, and a bit of experience. But with "Tu moi", it is a voice that leans more towards emotion than technique. She does not sing slowly and openly, but runs the notes faster, with less vibrato and vibrato. Each lyric that rings out is like "pulling out the heartstrings", questioning, poignant and profound.
In the MV, there are many scenes where she has to hang in the air up to 9m high, even though she has just undergone major surgery to treat cancer. Talking about this and talking about the way she sings in “Tu cau”, singer Hong Nhung shared: “My voice now has more gratitude. I realize that I am smaller than a speck of dust”.
The life event has changed the singer at the age of 55, but not in a pessimistic, negative way, but rather inspiring and optimistic in life. So when she released the MV "Tu cau", many people were happy and took it as motivation for themselves.
Since being diagnosed with cancer, singer Hong Nhung has made great efforts to treat her disease and become an inspiration to others in the same situation. She has appeared in many community projects, released co-written products, performed many shows, and produced music products. Singer Hong Nhung always appears radiant and devoted to music.
As the main character in the recent VTV3 program “Weekend Appointment”, singer Hong Nhung confided that it was music, the audience and the love of her family that helped her keep the flame of spirit burning, not falling. She believes that as long as the spirit is strong, all obstacles can be overcome. It is a voice that goes through stormy days, to continue singing with all enthusiasm, spreading positive energy to everyone.
