More than 400 doctors and medical staff of Thong Nhat General Hospital participated in blood donation

(DN) - On August 27, Thong Nhat General Hospital (Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province) coordinated with the Dong Nai Red Cross Society and Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a humanitarian blood donation program. This is an activity in the series of campaigns called "Red Blood Drops of Summer 2025".

Accordingly, more than 400 doctors and medical staff of Thong Nhat General Hospital participated in donating blood, each person donated 1 unit of 350ml of blood.

Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Tuong Quang, Deputy Director in charge of Thong Nhat General Hospital said: The voluntary blood donation movement has been maintained regularly by the hospital and received positive response from officials and employees. Thereby, supplementing the amount of blood, contributing to partly overcome the shortage of blood in emergency and treatment in Dong Nai province. This is a meaningful humanitarian activity, contributing to bringing life and health to patients in need of blood transfusion.
