More than 3,800 teachers will be signed contracts before July 1

(Dan Tri) - Thanh Hoa province will sign contracts with 3,840 teachers according to Decree 111 of the Government, before July 1.

This content was recently resolved at the 30th session of the 18th Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Accordingly, 3,840 teachers in public preschool and generaleducation institutions in the province will be signed contracts for a period of 12 months.

Previously, as Dan Tri reported, at the end of May, 3,840 contract teachers (according to Decree 111 of the Government ) in Thanh Hoa expressed their concern when their contracts ended.

Many teachers, especially those new to the profession or those in difficult circumstances, wish to continue signing contracts to stabilize their lives and have time to prepare for the civil service exam.

The contract expiration has left many teachers facing the risk of losing income and having their insurance interrupted during the summer break, as the current contract only lasts until the end of May.

The Department of Education and Training has proposed that the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province consider signing 12-month contracts for teachers according to Decree 111 to ensure the rights of workers and to suit the characteristics of the education sector.

The Department of Home Affairs of Thanh Hoa province has also prepared a proposal to the Provincial People's Committee to continue assigning 3,840 labor contract positions to work as teachers, with the contract duration lasting 12 months, from June 1 to the end of May 2026.

According to the Thanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs, the proposal to assign this contract quota stems from the fact that the whole province is currently short of 12,379 teachers. Therefore, the need to supplement human resources for the 2025-2026 school year is extremely urgent.
