Provincial Association of the Blind organizes a conference of advanced models for the period 2020 - 2025

On the morning of June 24, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Association of the Blind held a conference of advanced models for the period 2020 - 2025. Attending were Mr. Pham Duy Loc - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, along with representatives of the Blind Associations of districts, towns and cities.

Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement has been focused on and directed by the blind associations at all levels in the province, linking emulation activities with production activities and taking care of the lives of officials and members. Currently, the province has 50 branches with 984 members; of which 123 are ethnic minority members, 346 are members of working age.

Mr. Pham Duy Loc - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department awarded certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Blind Association to collectives and individuals.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the association at all levels has created regular jobs for more than 146 workers; maintained and established 6 production facilities, focusing on handicrafts such as: making brooms, bamboo toothpicks, incense, rattan, weaving, acupressure services...; with a total revenue of more than 13 billion VND. In addition, from the National Employment Fund, the association has provided loans to 128 members with a total amount of more than 2 billion VND and provided charity loans to 172 members with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND to invest in production and business development.

In addition, the association has actively organized 25 Braille classes for 250 members, 17 mobility orientation classes for 255 members and organ lessons for 20 students...

The Provincial Association of the Blind awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Provincial Association of the Blind will continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation work among cadres and members; promote information and propaganda work on emulation movements of association activities; continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style...

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Blind Association awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of the association, period 2020 - 2025; The Provincial Blind Association awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 25 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to carry out the association's tasks in the period 2020 - 2025.
