- This year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is being implemented on a large scale, lasting until the end of August. With the theme "Vietnamese Youth are proud and firmly believe in the Party", this year's volunteer activities not only aim to support the community and take care of social security but also celebrate major political events such as: The 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; towards the 14th National Party Congress.

This year's campaign will focus on practical, focused, key tasks, emphasizing sustainable effectiveness and closely linked to local needs. Although the organization is being reorganized, all levels of the Youth Union have maintained good operations, continuing to affirm their role as a shock force on all fronts. Accordingly, the whole province strives to mobilize 15,000 Youth Union members and youth to participate in volunteer activities; support the elimination of 10 temporary and dilapidated houses for people with meritorious services and people in difficult circumstances; plant 200,000 new trees; build at least 2km of new roads and repair 15km of rural roads... In addition, activities to improve digital capacity, start-ups, career counseling, support for community health, environmental protection, traditionaleducation and care for children will be promoted and implemented simultaneously in localities.

The highlight of this year's campaign is the strengthening of the organization of "Digital Popular Education" teams to popularize information technology, e-commerce, and digital transformation skills for people; implementing projects to digitize historical relics, libraries, and administrative records; guiding people to use online public services and make cashless payments...

- How has the Provincial Youth Union prepared to make volunteer activities practical, effective, safe and widely spread, sir?

- With the "Pink Holiday" campaign, the youth workers, civil servants and public employees will promote their professional expertise, organize mock trials, disseminate laws, support administrative records, and transfer technical advances in agriculture . The "Green March" campaign will be led by the armed forces with traditional education activities, ensuring security and order, supporting people in border and island areas, providing free medical examinations and medicine, and organizing experiential programs for children. Along with that, models such as: "A day as a soldier", "Military semester", "Love bus", "Lighting up the country road", "Weekend playground for children" ... will be maintained and expanded.

In that spirit, the Provincial Youth Union has assigned specific tasks to specialized departments in charge of implementing the campaign according to each group of tasks. At the same time, it will promote propaganda, encouragement and promotion of volunteer spirit among youth in the whole province. Each district, town and city Youth Union will build at least one permanent volunteer team with 15-20 members, closely coordinating with volunteer teams from universities and colleges.

- How is the implementation of the work in the affiliated and grassroots unions so far, sir?

- Through understanding, currently, the units have selected the locations to implement the summer volunteer campaign. For example: The Youth Union of Nha Trang College of Technology will implement youth work and projects such as playgrounds for children in Khanh Son district. Field surveys are being carried out to ensure that they are close to the needs of local people to implement other youth work in a practical and effective manner. The Youth Union of the Central Pedagogical College - Nha Trang is expected to implement Green Summer volunteer activities in Khanh Vinh district. With the school's specialized training, the Youth Union will support kindergartens in difficult areas of the district with tasks such as: Making teaching aids and toys for children; decorating classrooms, school grounds...

Along with that, districts, towns, city youth unions, university and college youth unions... have also planned to implement Green Summer volunteer activities in disadvantaged areas in the province. It is expected that the activities will soon be deployed at their peak from the end of June to the end of August.
