In early June, the tourism atmosphere in Binh Thuan became bustling. Although it was just the beginning of the summer tourist season, it was easy to see the bustle at the destinations and tourist areas through the number of visitors coming to relax this summer. In addition to the flow of visitors from companies, units, schools, the flow of visitors in small groups of families and friends still accounted for a large number this summer.

Ms. Lam Kieu Oanh - representative of Radisson resort Phan Thiet, said: With the number of guests booked in advance and signals from the beginning of June until now, the number of guests this summer has increased by 10 - 20% compared to previous years. The main source of guests still comes from large provinces and cities such as: Ho Chi Minh City, the Southern provinces and the Central Highlands... Currently, the number of guests "shifting" to the weekends is quite large, with room occupancy reaching 70 - 100%. On weekdays, room occupancy ranges from 20 - 50%.

Tourist areas located in the south of Phan Thiet city such as Tien Thanh, Thuan Quy, Tan Thanh... have become bustling. Instead of focusing only on the key areas of Ham Tien and Mui Ne as before, tourists have begun to look for new resorts with pristine, peaceful beaches, in the early days of summer.

“Recently, my family's trips often focus on a "slow lifestyle" with experiences of exploring the nature, beauty, and culture of the land we visit without needing too many high-end services. And that is the reason I chose to come to Ke Ga beach, Ham Thuan Nam. In addition to the ancient lighthouse, the beach here is quite wild, poetic, the air is fresh, and the seafood is delicious. Being able to pull in fishing nets with the locals every morning is a rare experience" - said Mr. Tam Huynh, from Binh Phuoc.

Phu Quy continues to improve the quality of sightseeing tours such as diving; SUP; sightseeing, exploring pristine beaches, rocky beaches combined with activities to collect trash to protect the environment.

With favorable weather, many natural landscapes, plus connecting transport infrastructure, diverse tourism products, from the beginning of 2025 until now, Binh Thuan tourism continues to record positive signals, maintaining its attraction on the domestic and international tourism map. Statistics show that in the first 5 months of the year, Binh Thuan welcomed more than 4.5 million visitors, an increase of 18% over the same period in 2024. Revenue from tourism activities reached 12,270 billion VND (an increase of 18.7% over the same period in 2024).

Mr. Do Van Hoang - a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said: "Binh Thuan is a very interesting destination, with many new things. Our family often goes on vacation during the summer, when the children have started their school break. What we enjoy most is the countless delicious dishes in Binh Thuan, many of which are simple but attractive, unique and almost all family members enjoy them."

According to the Tourism Department - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, the encouraging signals from the beginning of the year until now, especially during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, have shown strong growth in the tourism industry and created momentum for the summer tourist season in 2025, promising "expectations" for Binh Thuan. This is also a solid foundation for localities and businesses to boldly deploy new tourism products, adding more attraction to the destination.
