Implementing the Binh Thuan Province Trade Promotion Program in 2025, up to now, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade) has successfully coordinated to organize 2 Vietnamese goods fairs in localities. Including: Vietnamese goods fair for islands in Phu Quy district in 2025 (taking place from April 4-6) and Vietnamese goods fair for mountainous areas in Ham Thuan Bac district in 2025 (from May 30 - June 1). This activity is carried out to actively respond to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", thereby promoting the movement of Vietnamese people prioritizing using Vietnamese goods in mountainous areas, remote areas, islands... According to the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, in addition to direct sales activities, businesses participating in the fair also have the opportunity to promote products, brands and seek partners to expand the distribution network of goods to the grassroots level to directly reach consumers.
To ensure the progress of disbursement of implementation funds, the functional unit also proactively coordinated to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue decisions to adjust some contents related to the 2025 Trade Promotion Program to suit the current situation. In addition, the provincial functional unit is also promoting the implementation of the Plan to develop and expand the consumption market for Binh Thuan dragon fruit products domestically and internationally in 2025. In addition to completing the broadcast of clips about typical products to promote and introduce product images and geographical indications of Binh Thuan dragon fruit (on VTV3 and HTV7 channels in June 2025), it is monitoring information from the event organizer to proactively advise on participating in the remaining contents. According to the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, there are still 2 program contents that have not been implemented, which are participating in the Conference, Cooperation Program, connecting supply and demand between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities in 2025. Therefore, in the second half of this year, based on the funding source transferred to implement and direct after the merger into the new Lam Dong province, the functional unit will advise on the implementation and completion of these contents.
