Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association visits Thanh Cong – Viet Hung factory: Experience European automotive technology in Vietnam

On May 30, 2025, the event “Visit and Exchange with Thanh Cong – Viet Hung Factory” took place in Quang Ninh province with the coordination of Skoda Vietnam and Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association. This is an exchange activity with the meaning of connecting businesses, at the same time opening up opportunities to learn about the practical process of manufacturing cars according to European standards right in Vietnam.

Attending the event, the delegation of Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association with 70 delegates led by Mr. Tran Dang Nam, Chairman of Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association, with the presence of Vice Chairmen: Mr. Tran Huu Dong, Mr. Tran Van Minh, Mr. Nguyen Vu Tru.
On the side of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory - Thanh Cong Group (TC Group), there were Mr. Dam Dinh Thong - General Director of Skoda Vietnam; Mr. Do Nam Khang - Director of Dealer Development and Customer Care; and a team of officers and employees of Skoda Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dam Dinh Thong expressed his honor to welcome the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association - a dynamic, creative community that plays an important role in promoting the development of the national economy . He believes that the connection between the business community is the foundation for mutual development and strong growth in the future.

Members of the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association had a chance to visit the Thanh Cong – Viet Hung factory, one of the most modern production facilities of Thanh Cong Group. This is also the factory that produces the first Skoda cars in Southeast Asia.

The factory covers an area of 36.5 hectares and has a capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year. The entire assembly line and technology are provided by the world's leading prestigious partners. This is also the place where Skoda Vietnam's CKD models are assembled.

One of the highlights of the program was the test drive of Skoda cars right at the factory premises. Entrepreneurs not only experienced the actual performance of models such as Kodiaq New Generation, New Karoq…, but also had the opportunity to discuss with representatives of Skoda Vietnam about development strategies, market trends as well as potential cooperation in the supporting industry.

The event is an opportunity for young businesses to broaden their vision, understand more about the scale and potential of the domestic automobile industry, and at the same time promote the connection between the business community and manufacturing and technology enterprises. This is also a testament to the increasingly strong development of “Made in Vietnam” products with international quality and standards.

Also at the event, Skoda Vietnam and the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association announced the content of the cooperation and development program. Accordingly, Skoda Vietnam is continuing to expand its dealer system nationwide, aiming to build a widespread distribution network to meet the increasing demand of the market.
