Hai Phong City Red Cross Society receives 220 million VND to support the Cuban people

Hai Phong City Red Cross calls on agencies, units, localities and people in the area to join hands to support the Cuban people.

City Red Cross officials join in supporting the Cuban people through Account 1505

In just 3 days since the launch, as of 4:00 p.m. on August 20, through Hotline 1505, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society received 220 million VND from 958 individuals and groups contributing to support the Cuban people.

Responding to the campaign to raise funds to support the Cuban people launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment and development of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the City Red Cross Society has just sent a document to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, departments, branches, organizations, People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones, agencies, units, corporations, enterprises, philanthropists... to organize a campaign to support the Cuban people to overcome difficulties. Thereby, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the traditional and special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba in general and between Hai Phong city and Cuban localities in particular.

The support period is from August 18, 2025 to October 16, 2025. All mobilized funds will be transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross to promptly implement activities to support the Cuban people.
