Principal of Giang Vo Secondary School To Thi Hai Yen said that the Google digital classroom model will be deployed in the new school year 2025-2026 for grade 6.
Specifically, the school plans to organize 3 model classes including class 6A1 - a key class in literature, class 6A6 - a key class in math, and class 6A9 - a key class in English.

Each student participating in Google digital classroom uses a separate laptop or tablet and is given a separate account. Students use the device under the direction and supervision of teachers to participate ineducational activities, ensuring safety, information security, and content control on all devices.
Teaching in these 3 sample classes are 100% Google-certified teachers (Google Certified Educator level 1 certificate); proficient in using the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem - a set of Google tools and services designed specifically for high schools to colleges and universities, and applying AI well in organizing educational activities.
Teachers use digital tools and Google tools in the system of lectures, exercises, reviews, tests, student assessments and organize other educational activities; ensure content quality and closely follow the innovation orientation of the 2018 General Education Program.
The classroom area is equipped with a facial recognition security camera system, integrated with industry database information connection to support the school in managing and taking attendance of students. Through this system, parents can quickly grasp and update information about their children at school.
From the 2026-2027 school year, based on the actual situation, in the following school years, the school plans to replicate the Google digital classroom model, aiming to build a Google digital school.
In a meeting with the People's Committee of Giang Vo ward and related parties, Principal To Thi Hai Yen proposed to borrow 170 Chromebook computers on credit to organize Google digital classes in the next school year.
She also proposed that partners soon organize training for teachers, key staff and parents on the new classroom model.
The principal of Giang Vo Secondary School also proposed sending the entire board of directors and key staff to Hanoi University of Science and Technology to study the digital classroom model to gain more experience in implementing it at the school.

Chairman of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee Co Nhu Dung, Head of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of Giang Vo Ward, agreed with the school's recommendations. Mr. Dung affirmed: "Digital transformation is a key task of Giang Vo Ward, especially in education and the backbone is Giang Vo Secondary School. Units need to urgently proceed to ensure the best conditions for the opening of Google digital classrooms before the new school year begins."
