This year, the major with the highest tuition fee at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy is Dentistry, up to 84.7 million VND/academic year (same as last year). The next major is Medicine, with 82 million VND/academic year (a decrease of 200,000 VND compared to last year).

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to enroll more than 2,576 students (an increase of 60 students compared to last year) through 4 admission methods:
- Method 1: Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
- Method 2: Consider combining the 2025 high school graduation exam results with international certificates.
- Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the admission regulations.
- Method 4: College preparation.
Specifically, in considering the combination of the 2025 high school graduation exam results with international certificates, the school applies to high school graduates and the results in the 2025 high school graduation exam with the total exam score of the combination B00/A00/B03/B08, bonus points and priority points (if any) must be equal to or above the minimum score threshold to ensure input quality as prescribed by the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Admissions Board.
Candidates with international certificates will be awarded points according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy (for all training majors). Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy uses the results of international certificates converted into bonus points in the admission process.
Note, bonus points will only be calculated when the candidate has submitted a certified copy of the international certificate (IELTS/TOEFL iBT; SAT) as prescribed and meets the requirements for bonus points. In the direct admission method according to the regulations of the admission regulations, the following subjects are applied:

- Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in national and international competitions for excellent students organized and nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training will be considered for direct admission in the year of high school graduation; the time of winning the prize must not exceed 3 years from the time of direct admission.
With the university preparatory method, the school applies to the following subjects:
- Are university preparatory students of Ho Chi Minh City University Preparatory School and Nha Trang Central Ethnic University Preparatory School.
- These students are eligible for admission as prescribed in the regulations on admission and preparatory training for universities; considered for transfer to university and college level in Early ChildhoodEducation for preparatory students issued with Circular No. 44/2021/TT-BGDDT dated December 31, 2021 of the Minister of Education and Training; have completed the preparatory university program and are allocated quotas by the Preparatory University.
- Pre-university students meet the admission requirements to Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
This year's high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. 2025 is the year when the first batch of students under the new general education program will take the high school graduation exam.
Candidates will take the exam in 4 subjects instead of 6 as before. The two compulsory subjects are Math and Literature; the two optional subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages (English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean). This is the first time that Information Technology and Technology (Industry, Agriculture) have become graduation exam subjects.
Regarding the formula for calculating graduation scores, exam scores account for 50%; the rest is the grade 10, 11 and 12 transcript scores (50%) and priority points if any. Compared to before, the transcript scores increased by 20%. The high school graduation exam results were announced on July 16, 1 day earlier than last year.
