Announcement schedule for 10th grade entrance exam results for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi

The Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 892/SGDĐT-QLT dated March 20, 2025 on instructions for admission to grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the test scores of candidates on the Department's Electronic Information Portal, the City's Primary Admissions Portal, and the Hanoi Moi Newspaper's Electronic Information Portal from July 4 to July 6, 2025.

Procedures for confirming admission to grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi

(1) Admission wishes: after the announcement of exam results and benchmark scores, a student may not be admitted or may be admitted to many NV (called admission wishes) into public high schools (admitted to a maximum of 01 NV into a non-specialized public high school among the NVs registered for admission, admitted to a maximum of 04 NV into specialized high schools...).

(2) Confirmation of admission: is a mandatory procedure for all students with NV to continue studying at a higher level. After the announcement of exam results and benchmark scores, students must register at one of the schools that have been admitted and must confirm admission from 13:30 on July 10, 2025 to 24:00 on July 12, 2025, specifically as follows:

- For public high schools: students can choose to confirm admission online or in person:

+ Online form: students log in with their account and password to the City's primary admission system, select the name of their admission wish and confirm their admission, choose to print or save the admission confirmation form and complete the process. In case a student is admitted to many different NV (students can be admitted to 01 non-specialized public NV, specialized NV, bilingual French, NV with enhanced French), students can change and confirm their admission again on the system before 24:00 on July 12, 2025.

+ Direct form: students submit a copy of the Admissions Test Result Notification for Grade 10 of the 2025-2026 school year to the school with the admitted student. After the school updates the admission support system and confirms admission, the student's account will be automatically locked by the system. The school prints the Admission Confirmation Notice for the student. If the student wants to adjust the admitted student (in case the student has many admitted students according to regulations), the student must contact the school to cancel the admission confirmation before confirming admission at the new admitted student (among the admitted students).

- For self-financed public high schools, private high schools, vocational education and training centers, and vocational training institutions:

+ Admitted students confirm their admission and submit their admission application no later than July 22, 2025: students submit to the school a copy of the Admissions Exam Results Report for Grade 10 High School for the 2025-2026 school year (for schools enrolling students according to the plan using exam results) or Junior High School Graduation Certificate or Temporary Junior High School Graduation Certificate (for schools enrolling students according to the plan based on students' training and learning results at the junior high school level).

+ After the school updates the enrollment support system and confirms enrollment, the student's account will be automatically locked by the system. The school prints the Admission Confirmation Notice for the student. During the enrollment period, if a student wants to change the admitted NV, they must contact the school that confirmed enrollment to cancel enrollment before confirming enrollment at the new NV.

+ For schools with a number of students applying for admission exceeding the prescribed quota, the school's Admissions Council is responsible for approving the number of admitted students according to the assigned number based on the students' DXT and publicly announcing the number of admitted students; the admission support system based on industry data only allows confirmation of admission for students according to the assigned quota.
