For the first time, four songs associated with the summer memories of many generations will be performed together on a symphony stage: "Entering Summer" (Le Huu Ha), "Pink Royal Poinciana" (Vu Hoang-Do Trung Quan), "White Summer" (Trinh Cong Son) and "Singing with the Little Cicada" (Thanh Tung).
In particular, for the first time, People's Artist Tan Minh (tenor) will perform the hit "Phuong Hong" - the song that has been associated with his name in a symphonic style.
Those are the highlights of “ Hanoi Concert: Summer Concert,” organized by Hanoi Radio on July 6 at the Hanoi Opera House.
Familiar melodies, once associated with the youth and memories of Vietnamese people, are now renewed with symphonies, bringing a completely different experience, both familiar, new, and full of art.
The program also features two works with strong folk colors, “Tieng flute que huong” and “Ly ngua o,” along with world classics such as “Mua hau” from Vivaldi's “Four Seasons” Suite, the Scherzo from Mendelssohn's “Giac chuong nuoc” (A Midsummer Night's Dream) , “Farandole” from Georges Bizet's “L'Arlesienne” or “Im Krapfenwald'l” by Johann Strauss II…

The program features singer Khanh Linh, violinist Hoang Ho Khanh Van, flutist Le Thu Huong, and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Honna Tetsuji.
According to musician Do Kien Cuong - who participated in arranging many works in the program, "Hanoi Concert: Summer Concert" has songs that audiences are used to hear melodies and sounds from small music groups, but when performed with a symphony orchestra, the effect will be much different. Because an orchestra of 60 to 100 artists will be 60-100 powerful sources of energy. Therefore, the audience will enjoy the best energy from the music .
With the program “Hanoi Concert: Summer Concert,” Hanoi Radio also aims to expand the community of classical music lovers, by renewing familiar works, combining Vietnamese pop music and Western classical music, contributing to building the habit of enjoying quality art among the public, especially the young generation.

From there, contributing to making chamber art a vibrant part of modern life, so that symphonic music is not only present in luxurious spaces but also spreads, connecting with all classes of audiences, building a dynamic and integrated cultural community.
The program will be broadcast live on channels H1, H2, FM96 radio, Hanoi On application, website hanoionline.vn and social media channels of Hanoi Radio./.
