In the latest episode, two guests, actor Phuong Nam and MC Ngoc Thuy, will accompany the audience on a journey to explore Khe Sanh - a land not only famous for its majestic natural beauty, but also bearing a strong mark of national history.
Ta Con Airport: Collapsed fortress and national pride
The first stop is Ta Con Airport, a special historical site associated with the resounding victory of the Vietnam People's Army in the Khe Sanh campaign in 1968. Located in Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, Ta Con airport was once considered a strategic military base, an "invincible" fortress of the US army in 1966-1968. With an area of over 10,000m2, this is the place where military transport aircraft, troop and armed helicopters take off and land. The trench system is where fierce battles were witnessed. The restored planes, tanks, bombs and barracks all exist as reminders of a tragic but proud past. After many fierce attacks, in July 1968 the US army was forced to withdraw from this base. This was a turning point that proved their total failure at Khe Sanh. Today, Ta Con airport is not only a historical witness but also a special destination for those who want to understand more about the war.

Khe Sanh: The capital of green agriculture
The war has ended, today Khe Sanh wears a new coat - the green of gardens, farms and sustainable vitality. People here are actively developing a clean agricultural model. Along the hillsides, there are glimpses of fresh flowers and vegetables all year round to serve the domestic and international markets.
A highlight in the local agricultural ecosystem is the Khe Sanh Vietnam Agricultural Tourism Cooperative, which not only develops agricultural products but also supports local people in consuming their products, from clean agricultural products to hand-woven items with a typical rural spirit. Each product is a story, a testament to the journey of the local people here.
Khe Sanh Coffee: Flavor rising from red soil and sky
Khe Sanh cannot be mentioned without mentioning coffee, with more than 5,000 hectares of planting area in Huong Hoa, one of the three main industrial crops of Quang Tri. In particular, Khe Sanh Arabica coffee is highly appreciated domestically and internationally, famous for its pure taste, sweet aftertaste, light floral aroma and characteristic mild acidity.
Coffee harvest in Khe Sanh
Every year, Khe Sanh Agricultural Cooperative purchases up to 4,000 tons of fresh coffee. What is special about this land is the method of cultivating without irrigation, the coffee trees grow from natural rain. Coffee berries are only picked when they have reached the perfect red ripeness, ensuring the quality of the finished product. Highly skilled households will ferment and brew coffee themselves to create higher-end batches, selling at better prices. People also have a "nothing to throw away" exploitation process: coffee beans are roasted and ground, the fruit shells are used to make cool cascara tea. Thanks to that, coffee is not only a poverty-reducing crop but also the pride of thousands of households - of which 50% are ethnic minorities.
"Green Connection Journey" is not just a regular TV show but also a true reflection of the lands that are changing strongly. With the experience in Khe Sanh, this place not only tells about the old battlefield, but also depicts a Khe Sanh full of new vitality when every inch of land, drop of water, coffee bean or bunch of vegetables carries the spirit of regeneration.
