Crowds of tourists swimming in Ha Long Bay despite light rain

On the afternoon of September 1, many tourists from everywhere flocked to Bai Chay beach, Ha Long city to swim. Although there was light rain making the temperature cool, the crowd of people coming to swim in the sea was getting bigger and bigger.

Due to the large number of people, the rows of chairs along the beach were full of renters.

“This is the second time my family has chosen Ha Long for a holiday. The sea here is very beautiful and the weather is cool. However, the streets are a bit crowded and it is not easy to move quickly,” said Nguyen Duc Canh (30 years old, a tourist from Phu Tho ).

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Vice Chairman of Ha Long City People's Committee, said that the city organized many large-scale cultural and musical events during this occasion. According to quick reports from units, from August 31 to September 2, hotels of 3 stars and above in Ha Long were almost fully booked.

100,000 tourists go to Lai Chau to celebrate Independence Day

In just the first two days of the holiday, about 100,000 tourists came to Than Uyen district (Lai Chau) to visit and experience unique tourist attractions.

For many days now, accommodation establishments and restaurants have been “fully booked”. Nguyen Anh Tuan, a tourist from Hanoi, said he had booked rooms and meals since the beginning of August.

Tourist attractions chosen by many visitors include Muong Than fields (Muong Than commune), Pa Khom bay, Tham Phe fishing village (Pha Mu commune), and Dan To fields (Ta Mung commune).

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of Than Uyen District People's Committee, said that this is the first year the Independence Day festival is organized at the provincial level. This year, the district is expected to welcome about 150,000 visitors during the 4-day holiday.

On the second day of the National Day holiday on September 2, many websites posted images of a line of cars in Sa Pa (Lao Cai). The streets in the central area to Cat Cat and Ta Van villages were crowded, cars moved slowly, and many sections were congested.
