Thousands of Bac Ninh residents excitedly took free buses to visit the National Achievements Exhibition in Hanoi

Hearing that the province would arrange a free shuttle bus to visit the Exhibition, Ms. Tran Thi Mai in Ha Vi 2 residential group, Bac Giang ward immediately registered for herself and her daughter to participate.

Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh encouraged people on the bus to visit the Exhibition.

She shared: “This year’s National Day has such a meaningful activity, I really want to go but I am still wondering about the transportation. When I learned that the province supported the shuttle bus, I was really surprised and immediately registered. The trip made me feel the province’s care and more proud in the atmosphere of the national holiday.”

After registering online with the QR code, Mai and her children gathered at 3/2 Square, Bac Giang Ward as announced. Here, officers from the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism took attendance, gave instructions and arranged seats. The new, modern passenger buses were quickly full. At the pick-up point at Bac Ninh Museum No. 2, Kinh Bac Ward, the buses were always fully booked, including many veteran members, students, and youth groups who enthusiastically participated.

Coming to the National Exhibition Center, people can not only admire the modern construction in the top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world but also visit hundreds of large-scale exhibition booths, recreating the 80-year historical journey of building and defending the Fatherland. The spaces introduce outstanding achievements in all fields: Politics, economics, culture, society, science - technology, national defense - security, foreign affairs. A special highlight is the "Three-region culinary train" bringing the quintessence of traditional cuisine from all regions of the country.

Many Bac Ninh residents expressed their pride when stopping at the province's exhibition booth with an area of 345m², with the theme "Bac Ninh - a thousand years of culture - Aspiration to rise in the new era". The space consists of 6 areas, combining artifacts and modern technology, comprehensively introducing the province's development achievements, from economy, science - technology, smart urban construction to preserving and promoting cultural values...

The exhibition space also has attractive experiential activities: Dong Ho painting artisans perform wood carving and painting printing; print letters on Vinh Nghiem pagoda woodblocks; Quan Ho artists sing ancient melodies; perform culinary processing, promote OCOP products. During the exhibition days, this space is also bustling with welcoming art programs, gathering Quan Ho, Cheo, Ca Tru, Then singing clubs... of the province, creating a colorful picture of cultural exchange.

Nguyen Thu Hien, an 11th grader at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, excitedly said: “This is the first time I have attended such a large-scale exhibition. I am very proud to witness the modern yet deeply cultural Bac Ninh exhibition booth.”

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presided over and coordinated with units to arrange free shuttle buses for people to visit the exhibition. The buses pick up passengers at two fixed points: 3/2 Square (Bac Giang Ward) and Bac Ninh Museum No. 2. Each day, 12 trips are arranged (3 trips in the morning, 3 trips in the afternoon), with specific time frames: Morning departure at 7:30 am at 3/2 Square and 8 am at Bac Ninh Museum No. 2, returning at 1 pm; afternoon pick up passengers from 1 pm; return at 3 pm or 9 pm. A total of 6 buses operate continuously, ensuring safety and convenience.

According to Mr. Do Tuan Khoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh, organizing free shuttle buses helps people, especially the elderly, students and pupils to conveniently participate in the exhibition. This is also an opportunity to widely promote the province's achievements at the national event.

This activity was actively responded to by the people, every day the number of people registering to participate early and after each tour returned expressed excitement at the province's attention and were excited and delighted by the grand scale and significance of the exhibition.
