Nguyen Tat Thanh University announced additional admissions in 2025 for 73 training majors in all admission methods, with admission scores equivalent to the previously announced benchmark scores.

Specifically, the standard admission score for the Medical major is 20.5 points based on the high school graduation exam score, 23 points based on the transcript score, 650 points based on the results of the Competency Assessment Test (CAT) of Ho Chi Minh City National University, and 85 points based on the results of the CAT of Hanoi National University.

The remaining majors in the Health sector are Preventive Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Rehabilitation Technology, which also have the following standard scores: 17 points for the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores and 19 points for the admission method based on academic records, 550 points for the admission method based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National University Entrance Exam scores and 70 points for the National University of Hanoi's National University Entrance Exam scores.

Candidates also need to have a grade 12 academic year result rated as Good or a graduation score of 6.5 or higher.

This year, the Law, Economic Law, and Economic Law majors (international standard program) of Nguyen Tat Thanh University have a benchmark score of 17 points for the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores and 18 points for the admission method based on academic records.

Van Lang University also announced additional admissions to 59 majors in 2025.

Specifically, the school accepts applications with 5 admission methods: Considering high school graduation exam scores, Considering high school transcripts, Considering Ho Chi Minh City National University's ability assessment test scores, Considering combined admission with aptitude test, Considering admission based on the results of the computer-based university entrance assessment test (V-SAT). The deadline for receiving applications is August 31, 2025.

In particular, the Dentistry and Medicine majors have the highest scores based on high school graduation exam scores (20.5 points), academic transcripts (23 points), National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National University Admissions Test scores (750 points) and V-SAT exam results (270 points).

Next is the Pharmacy major, which scores are based on the following methods: High school graduation exam score (19 points), academic transcript score (23 points), National University of Ho Chi Minh City's National University Admissions Test score (700 points) and V-SAT test results (250 points).

The remaining majors take the following scores: High school graduation exam score method (15-18 points), academic transcript method (18-19 points), Ho Chi Minh City National University's National University Admissions Test score (500-600 points) and V-SAT test results (200-225 points).

FPT University also announced additional admissions in 2025. Accordingly, with the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025 must have a total score of math + 2 random subjects + priority points according to regulations, which must reach 18.5 points (or 17 points for first-generation candidates - the first person in the family including parents or guardians and all siblings to attend university).

With the method of considering transcripts, candidates need to reach the Top 50 (or Top 55 for first-generation candidates) of Schoolrank (look up rankings on the Schoolrank 2025 platform https://schoolrank.fpt.edu.vn) and at the same time have a total score of Math + 2 elective subjects (choose from: Literature, Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic Education & Law, Information Technology, Technology) of semester 2 of grade 12 of 21 points or higher.

Based on the National High School Exam scores, candidates need to achieve 78 points in the National University of Hanoi's competency assessment exam or 653 points in the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment exam.

For other subjects, the school applies a review method equivalent to the input threshold of the 2025 high school academic results (transcript) admission method.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) also considers adding all majors, admission scores are equal to the first round's standard scores.

Similarly, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) will consider additional admission for 61 majors, accepting applications until September 10 by considering academic records, with admission scores from 18 and above, and from 19-21 points for the health group.

Saigon International University (SIU) will consider adding educational technology majors and medical information technology majors with an expected quota of about 300-350 students.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau University also considers hundreds of additional applications for 95 training majors of the school with standard scores based on high school graduation exam scores (15 - 17 points, depending on major), and on academic records (16 - 20 points, depending on major).

In the public school sector, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade also announced additional enrollment for the regular university system and the international joint program in 2025 with 4 enrollment methods: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; Admission using the high school study results of grades 10, 11 and 12; Admission using the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025; and Admission based on the exam results of the specialized competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education combined with high school study results according to the subject combination corresponding to each major.

The school also noted that converting foreign language certificates into English subject scores only applies to method 1 of admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam or method 2 of admission using high school study results of grades 10, 11 and 12.

Vietnam Aviation Academy also recruits hundreds of additional quotas in 2025.
