The first airline in Vietnam opens direct flights to the capital Manila (Philippines)

Vietnam Airlines will open a new route connecting Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City to Manila (Philippines) from June 17.

Accordingly, the airline will operate flights between Hanoi and Manila with a frequency of 3 flights/week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. For the flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Manila, the frequency is 4 flights/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Thus, Vietnam Airlines will operate a total of 7 flights departing from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Manila. All flights will be operated by modern wide-body aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines is the first airline in Vietnam to open a route to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The new route is of great significance in the strategy of developing the international flight network of Vietnam Airlines, connecting Manila, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City - the leading economic centers of Southeast Asia.

“Opening a direct flight to Manila also contributes to promoting economic, cultural and tourism exchanges between Vietnam and the Philippines as well as in the Southeast Asian region,” emphasized the leader of Vietnam Airlines.
