Hai Duong will build nearly 2.5 km more National Highway 5 service road

National Highway 5 through Lai Cach town (Cam Giang)

Hai Duong Provincial People's Council has just decided on the investment policy for the National Highway 5 Service Road Project through Cam Giang District.

The total length of the service roads is about 2.48 km. Of which, the service road on the right side of National Highway 5 from Ghe intersection (km40+240) to Lai Cach intersection (km43+870) consists of 4 sections with a total length of nearly 2 km. The service road on the left side from Lai Cach commercial urban area to the end of Cam Binh Shoe Joint Stock Company on the left side of the route (km44+205 - km44+795) with a length of nearly 600 m. The service roadbed is 10-11 m wide.

This project will also invest in completing items such as intersections, drainage, trees, median strips, sidewalks, lighting, signaling systems, traffic safety organization, etc.

The project has a total investment capital of more than 345 billion VND, invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The project will synchronously connect with existing feeder roads in Cam Giang district, gradually completing the feeder road system along both sides of National Highway 5, enhancing exploitation capacity, ensuring traffic safety, improving travel conditions, minimizing traffic congestion and accidents on Highway 5...
