Hanoi FC aims to beat The Cong Viettel to keep their hopes of winning the LPBank V-League 2024-25 alive. The capital derby was tense from the start as The Cong Viettel played fiercely and almost scored after Tien Anh's shot hit the post.

Hanoi FC quickly responded with coordinated plays down the flank, but Duy Manh, Tuan Hai and Bobicanec all finished too hastily, missing scoring opportunities.
