The book is published by the Truth National Political Publishing House in collaboration with Sbooks.

In particular, he was surprised by the interesting and practical details that Professor-Doctor Furuta Motoo included in the book such as: A realistic description of raising pigs and chickens in a small house during the subsidy period; or everyday things like the way Vietnamese people participate in traffic, the image of a barber holding a mirror and tools running away when the government's security team came to clear him away and then returning when they passed by; or the "housewarming" ceremony when opening a new headquarters - a manifestation of the Vietnamese people's respect for spiritual factors...

According to the publisher, the book shows that author Furuta Motoo has been diligently researching Vietnamese history and culture and rewriting it from his own hard work over nearly half a century. This book can be considered a summary of his research on Vietnam when he is over seventy years old and still continues to love Vietnam through his constant exploration, research, and interpretation.

The book will also add to the knowledge base of domestic and foreign readers a lot of new knowledge and new perspectives, helping readers have a more comprehensive and vivid view of Vietnamese history through the perspective of a foreign professor./.
