Note from Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, sent to candidates before taking the high school graduation exam
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said: "The heads of graduation examination sites must directly assign tasks to each invigilator in each examination room. Before cutting the exam papers for each subject, it is necessary to remind candidates once again to check their belongings to see if there are any devices or items that are not allowed in the examination room. Absolutely do not let candidates bring unauthorized items into the examination room, especially mobile phones."
Only the 2006 General Education Program Geography Atlas is allowed in the exam room.
The 2024 high school graduation exam is the final exam of the 2006 General Education Program. Therefore, in the note to candidates about the items and objects allowed to be brought into the exam room, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu further reminded candidates to pay attention to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on the geography atlas used when taking the geography exam. Accordingly, candidates need to pay attention to the Vietnam geography atlas compiled according to the 2006 General Education Program (without marking or writing any other content).
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu advised candidates that in case they forget their exam papers or exam cards, they should not return home but should go to the exam site and report to the head of the exam site so that the head of the exam site can help resolve the issue. If candidates forget their papers and return home to get them, it may affect the travel time to the exam site or may lead to psychological stress, affecting the exam.
