Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huu Linh - Deputy Chief of Politics of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony. |
Ms. Ka Pen's family is an ethnic minority household in difficult circumstances. Their current house is dilapidated and cannot be repaired. Her family has a son who is a party member and is performing military service at the 293rd Engineer Brigade. The "House of Military-Civilian Gratitude" was built on an area of over 70 square meters, including 1 living room and 2 bedrooms. The construction cost was supported by the Provincial Military Command with 80 million VND, the rest was covered by the family. The house is expected to be completed in August 2025.
The support for the construction of the “House of Military-Civilian Gratitude” demonstrates the affection and responsibility of the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces towards the people in general and Mrs. Ka Pen’s family in particular. Thereby, it contributes to strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people and the great national unity bloc, consolidating the national defense, and the solid people’s heart position. At the same time, it creates conditions for families to have a stable place to live, develop the economy, and stabilize their lives.
Lam Dong Provincial Military Command presented a symbolic plaque to support the construction of a Military-Civilian Gratitude House for Mrs. Ka Pen's family. |
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huu Linh, in 2025, the Provincial Military Command will build 14 "Military-civilian gratitude houses" to give to disadvantaged households across the province, of which 4 houses have been handed over and put into use.
