Lim Festival is the most famous festival of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, held on January 13 every year with the central space being Lim Hill (Lim town, Tien Du district). Currently, Lim Festival has 13 villages in Tien Du district participating, including: Dinh Ca, Due Nam, Lo Bao, Due Khanh, Due Dong, Lung Giang, Lung Son, Che, Doc, Bai Uyen, Hoai Thi, Hoai Trung, Hoai Thuong.

During the festival days, various forms of Quan Ho folk song performances are performed by artisans, artists, male and female singers and people from Quan Ho villages throughout the region at home, at village communal houses, on boats, on stage, on Lim hill, in front of pagodas...

Documents show that in the 18th century, Lim Festival had become a large festival that developed to the scale of a communal festival - Noi Due commune. At that time, Noi Due commune included 6 communes and wards: Lung Giang commune, Noi Due (Dinh Ca, Lo Bao), Noi Due Khanh, Noi Due Nam, Xuan O and the singing group of Tien Du communal house (later Noi Due Dong). In particular, Lim Festival is also associated with the names of famous historical and cultural figures of the Lim region such as: Do Nguyen Thuy, Nguyen Dinh Dien, Ba Mu A... who had a direct influence and played a great role in preserving customs and expanding festivals in the Lim region.

Not just a traditional festival, Lim Festival is also a typical cultural space - where Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity is preserved, performed and promoted in a rich and lively way. With an elaborate practice process, a harmonious combination of traditional rituals and vibrant cultural activities, especially Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs, Lim Festival clearly shows the identity and quintessence of Kinh Bac - Bac Ninh land.
