Attending the meeting were members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Ceremony: Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee Nguyen Doan Toan; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan.

Deploy key task groups for preparation work

Reporting at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Pham Xuan Tai said that the celebration, parade and march will take place on the morning of September 2 at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets of Hanoi. According to the proposal of the Organizing Committee, about 40,000 people, including invited guests and mass forces, are expected to attend the celebration; forces on duty; and forces marching and marching.

Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Pham Xuan Tai said that based on the tasks assigned by the Central Steering Committee, lessons learned from the process of organizing the Rally, Parade, and March to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of National Day (2015), and the experience of central agencies and Ho Chi Minh City in organizing the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the City People's Committee has focused on leading and directing the city's departments, branches, and sectors to deploy 10 key groups of tasks.

Specifically, design, construct, manage and operate the National Emblem model car, the Ho Chi Minh portrait car, the 80th anniversary National Day model car of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; mobilize the people to participate. At the same time, develop and implement traffic flow and route planning to ensure security and order in the city; implement plans to absolutely ensure security and traffic safety; develop and implement plans to handle situations of terrorism, protests, disorder, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

The city also develops plans for medical care, epidemic prevention, food safety and hygiene, emergency care, arranging ambulances, doctors and vehicles, medicines, medical supplies, hygiene and safety, food... ready for emergency care in training areas, joint training, preliminary rehearsals, general rehearsals and celebrations, parades, marches...

Hanoi City also designed the overall layout and organized the implementation: decorating the stage, installing the grandstand (30,000 seats), installing the LED screen system (4 screens), decorating propaganda and visuals. At the same time, building a plan to arrange the loudspeaker system on the streets and roads where the parade and marching forces pass through (arranging 400 loudspeakers) and 5 clusters of box speakers and full-range speakers at 5 key clusters.

Regarding the logistics plan, Hanoi City will develop mechanisms and policies to support forces serving the city's commemorative activities... Along with that is the plan to arrange vehicles to transport the city's forces participating in the commemorative activities; synthesize the needs to transport delegates and the masses from the gathering place to Ba Dinh Square and vice versa...

At the meeting, members of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Celebration and representatives of the departments and branches of Hanoi discussed and exchanged on the implementation of the tasks of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Celebration according to the assigned fields. In particular, the implementation of the tasks of 6 Subcommittees assisting the Organizing Committee includes: Parade and Marching Subcommittee; Content, Propaganda and Health Subcommittee; Security, Order and Traffic Subcommittee; Environmental Sanitation Subcommittee; Materials and Logistics Subcommittee; Reception Subcommittee.

To ensure the good implementation of the tasks assigned by the Central Steering Committee to Hanoi City, the Department of Culture and Sports recommends that the City People's Committee, the Chairman of the City People's Committee - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Ceremony, and the Deputy Heads of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary Ceremony consider directing regular meetings of the Sub-Committees assisting the Organizing Committee, checking the progress of implementation, and resolving difficulties and problems in the implementation process.
