The above information was mentioned by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang at a press conference on the afternoon of August 22 about the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" and the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang said that the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 is not only meaningful to the Vietnamese people but also to progressive people around the world .
In preparation for the Anniversary, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised the competent authorities to invite international guests to attend. Up to now, 6 high-level delegations, including Belarus, Cambodia, Cuba, Laos, Russia and China, have confirmed their attendance at the ceremony. Some of these delegations will conduct bilateral activities.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received confirmation of participation from more than 20 political party delegations and 8 Defense Ministry delegations of various countries to attend Vietnam's Anniversary Ceremony.
According to Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will invite a number of international reporters to attend and cover the celebration as well as activities related to the festival. This will be an opportunity for foreign reporters to witness firsthand the achievements of our people and inform the international community.
Notably, this is the first time in 80 years that overseas Vietnamese have had a parade. "We went to the practice session to visit and encourage overseas Vietnamese to participate in the parade. All 50 overseas Vietnamese shared that they were very happy and proud to participate in the parade on the country's important holiday. At the same time, it shows the responsibility of being Vietnamese people even though they are living far away from the Fatherland," Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang emphasized.
In addition, on this occasion, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations also invited about 100 delegates who are international friends who have supported Vietnam over the past 80 years to attend.
6 forces participate in the parade

Regarding the parade program in the upcoming 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, Major General Tong Van Thanh, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, said that in terms of force organization, there are 6 forces participating in the parade, including: Traditional Torchbearer Force and Fire Guard; Ceremonial Artillery Force; Air Force flying salute; Parade and marching force; Background force and Formation and Lettering Force.
In which, the parade and marching bloc includes: 4 ceremonial blocs; 43 blocs representing armed forces (26 army blocs, 17 police blocs; foreign army blocs); military vehicles, artillery, special police vehicles; sea parade forces; 13 mass parade blocs.
The standing force as the background includes the Honor Guard and 29 standing units (18 armed forces units and 11 mass units). The force forming shapes and letters has the participation of 4,600 people.
The Ministry of Defense has invited four countries to send troops to participate in the parade: China, Laos, Russia, and Cambodia. Major General Tong Van Thanh said that all four countries have accepted the invitation, and Russian, Lao, and Cambodian soldiers have arrived in Vietnam and participated in joint training at Ba Dinh Square last night. Meanwhile, China's parade troops will arrive in Vietnam at the end of August.
The parade program began with a traditional torch relay, ceremonial cannon firing, and a welcome flight by the Air Force. Next was the parade of the groups in the following order: the Honor Guards group; the walking group; the vehicle group, military cannon, and special police vehicles; the armed forces at sea (broadcasting images to Ba Dinh); the mass groups; and the Culture and Sports group.
Major General Tong Van Thanh said that since the beginning of May, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security have directed the training of forces participating in A80, organizing 4 joint training sessions, 5 combined training sessions (July 17, August 5, August 13, August 16 at TB4 and August 21). The combined training session on the evening of August 21 at Ba Dinh Square was of good quality, with the participation of all blocks and forces (except the Air Force and Artillery) and 3 military blocks of Russia, Laos and Cambodia.
The second general training session of the armed forces will take place from 8:00 p.m. on August 24; the preliminary review at the State level from 8:00 p.m. on August 27 and the final review at the State level from 6:30 a.m. on August 30, 2025 (Saturday). The official ceremony will take place from 6:30 a.m. on September 2 at the historic Ba Dinh Square.
13 mass parade blocks
Further information at the press conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that 8 mass groups have been trained by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Capital Command, each group consists of 160 people; of which 3 groups will directly participate in the parade. The participating forces practice regularly and seriously.
Notably, on the stage this year there will be a huge formation of 4,600 people, arranged on the benches opposite the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. These are the two largest formations in the formation, arranged in two symbolic shapes. The Organizing Committee hopes that this formation will create a new and different feature compared to previous parades.
Regarding the 13 mass parade blocks, this year a new staging technique will be applied, the blocks will create artistic and beautiful shapes when viewed from above, so reporters and journalists need to pay attention to choosing the camera angle to fully capture these blocks.
In the final 15-minute art program, the Organizing Committee mobilized nearly 2,000 actors of all ages to participate. The highlight was a medley with the participation of 80 artists, athletes, beauty queens, celebrities, police officers, and military officers singing together in the closing performance.
In addition, on the evening of September 1, a special art program will take place at My Dinh Stadium, with a scale of nearly 4,000 actors - considered the largest program ever. The program brings together many music stars, not only red music but also many famous contemporary artists...
At the press conference, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Dinh Thi Mai suggested that press agencies focus on promoting gratitude to previous generations and international friends who have accompanied Vietnam's revolutionary cause. Prominently promote the country's achievements in the past 80 years, from politics, economics, national defense - security, culture - society to foreign affairs... Propaganda work arouses national pride, self-esteem, aspiration to contribute and determination to bring the country into an era of strong, prosperous development;
Those achievements were vividly and visually displayed in the exhibition space at the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi).
