50% discount on 46 fees and charges from July 1

46 fees and charges will be reduced by 50% from the beginning of July until the end of 2026, according to a circular of the Ministry of Finance.

It is expected that this policy will reduce budget revenue by about 700 billion VND.

This is the sixth year the agency has reduced fees to support people and businesses. This policy is expected to reduce budget revenue by about VND700 billion.

Accordingly, the reduced fees include business registration fees, licensing fees for the establishment and operation of banks and non-bank credit institutions; fees for appraisal of restricted goods and services; fees for appraisal and approval of fire prevention and fighting designs; fees for appraisal of construction investment projects; fees for certification of origin of goods (C/O); fees for concession of exploitation of airports and airfields.

Other types are also reduced by 50%, such as fees for granting licenses to send workers to work abroad for a limited period of time; fees for assessing and granting licenses for international and domestic travel services; fees for issuing, changing, and reissuing ID cards and passports; fees in the fields of health care , securities, etc.

Previously, the Ministry of Finance said that with the above reduction and application period, it is expected that implementing this policy will support people and businesses with more than 3,000 billion VND.

According to authorities, this fee reduction will help businesses and people stabilize production and business, contributing to economic recovery and growth.
