From 3:00 p.m. on November 21, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND109/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND79/liter. At the same time, diesel decreased by VND64/liter; kerosene decreased by VND67/liter, but fuel oil increased by VND5/kg.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, except for fuel oil, the remaining petroleum products will decrease from 3:00 p.m. today (November 21).
Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND109/liter, down to VND19,343/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND79/liter, the new price is VND20,528/liter; diesel oil decreased by VND64/liter, down to VND18,509/liter; kerosene decreased by VND67/liter, the new price is VND18,921/liter. However, fuel oil increased slightly by VND5, up to VND16,014/kg.
During this period, the joint ministries did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products. A representative of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) said that as of the time before the price adjustment, the balance of the Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) at the enterprise was VND3,080 billion, unchanged from the most recent announcement period.
Previously, on November 14, E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND292/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND247/liter. Diesel oil decreased by VND344/liter; kerosene decreased by VND306/liter, and fuel oil decreased by VND385/kg.
According to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading, the period of petroleum price management will be shortened from 10 days to 7 days, implemented every Thursday.
In case the price management period coincides with a holiday according to regulations, it will be implemented as follows: If Thursday coincides with the first day of the holiday, the petrol price management period will be implemented on the previous Wednesday. If Thursday coincides with the remaining holidays, the petrol price management period will be implemented on the first working day after the holiday.
