15% discount on train tickets for VnExpress Marathon Hue runners

Runners and their relatives coming to Hue to attend the VnExpress Marthon by train managed by Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will receive a 15% discount on ticket prices.

The promotion applies to all stations on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line, to Hue and vice versa. The promotion applies to runners who buy train tickets from April 15 to April 21. Runners can register for train tickets with the promotion of the Organizing Committee here.

According to the organizers after three seasons of VnExpress Marathon Hue, there are quite a few runners who choose the train as their means of transportation. Especially families and running groups in the North and neighboring provinces. Runner Nguyen Nam Phuong (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) has participated in the race many times. He said he really likes taking the train from Hanoi to Hue because his family has small children, it is convenient, and affordable.

"The travel time is flexible, especially for office workers because they only need to get on the train at night, sleep, and arrive in Hue the next morning," the male runner shared.

In addition to the fixed North-South route, Vietnam Railways Corporation has recently operated two trains with the numbers HD1/2 and HD3/4 between Hue - Da Nang under the name "Connecting Central Heritage". On the journey, the train will stop at Lang Co Station for 10 minutes for visitors to admire the beauty and check-in at Lang Co Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

During the opening month, Vietnam Railways Corporation will apply a preferential ticket price of VND150,000/ticket; monthly ticket price of VND900,000/ticket, and a discount of 10% - 50% for passengers who are policy beneficiaries. After arriving in Hue to attend the VnExpress Marathon, visitors can choose to travel by train to combine their trip to Da Nang.

VnExpress Marathon Hue 2024 kicks off on April 21, with an expected participation of 8,000 athletes. From April, Hue will enter the Summer Festival with the theme "Shining Imperial City". This festival is part of the Four Seasons Festival 2024. Coming to the ancient capital on this occasion, visitors will be able to participate in many activities honoring the culture, land, and people.
