In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today, July 29, 2024, decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities and traded in the range of 64,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, after adjusting the price down, traders in Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc are purchasing live pigs at 65,000 VND/kg, equal to that in Bac Giang , Yen Bai, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Hanoi, Tuyen Quang.

Also reducing the price, traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price in the region.

Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg and fluctuated between 62,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Lam Dong buy live pigs at 65,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.
On the other hand, traders in Khanh Hoa are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg. This is the lowest price in the region.
After reducing the price, traders in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, equal to that in Quang Binh and Binh Thuan.

Traders in Dong Nai are buying live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg, the highest price in the region.

Also reduced price, traders in Bac Lieu are buying live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.
In general, the price of live pigs today decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between 62,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
