Timely rescue of 4 female students trapped at Mo stream

While playing together at Suoi Mo in Dai Lao residential group 3, Bao Loc ward 3 (Lam Dong), floodwaters poured in, trapping four female students. Fortunately, rescue forces arrived in time to rescue them and bring them safely to shore.

The Police Force of Lam Dong Province Police promptly arrived to rescue 4 female students trapped at Mo stream when flood waters rose.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of August 17, 4 16-year-old female students including: LTVT, BTMT, NHBN and NKD, all residing in Di Linh commune (Lam Dong) went to Suoi Mo waterfall in Bao Loc pass area to play.

While the children were playing on the other side of the stream, heavy rains broke out in Ward 3 of Bao Loc. Floodwaters from upstream of Bao Loc Pass poured into Mo Stream, rising and flowing rapidly, causing the four female students to be unable to find their way across the stream and trapped on the other side.

Rescuers brought the female students from the other side of the river to Mo stream safely.

Fortunately, some people working in the garden discovered the incident and quickly reported it to the Fire and Rescue Police Team (CC&CNCH) Region 3 (PCC&CNCH Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police).

Heavy rain in Bao Loc Pass area caused water from upstream to flow into Mo stream to rise and flow rapidly, trapping 4 female students on the other side.

Upon receiving the report, the Police and Rescue Team of Region 3 mobilized more than 10 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy rescue measures.

At 5 p.m. the same day, when the rescue team arrived, the floodwaters on Mo stream were gradually receding. Officers and soldiers of the Police and Rescue Team of Region 3 followed a bamboo bridge across the stream about 300 meters from where the trapped female students were, approaching the scene. Here, officers and soldiers promptly reassured and encouraged the female students and brought them all safely to shore.

All 4 female students trapped at Mo stream were brought to shore safely by rescuers.

After being taken across the stream, the female students expressed their sincere thanks to the officers and soldiers of the Police Department of Fire Prevention and Rescue of Region 3 for their timely rescue. With the guidance of the rescue team, the female students returned to their boarding house safely.
