Gold price increased by 300,000 VND/tael each way

This morning, June 11, domestic gold prices increased by 300,000 VND/tael each way, of which gold rings reached nearly 119 million VND/tael.

At nearly 9:00 a.m., the company listed SJC gold bars at 116.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 118.8 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 300,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of yesterday.

The price of gold rings also increased. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed gold rings of type 1-5 at only VND112 million/tael (buy) - VND114.5 million/tael (sell), VND300,000/tael (buy) and VND500,000/tael (sell) higher than the end of the previous day.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited also increased 300,000 VND/tael each way for plain round gold rings, to 114.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.5 million VND/tael (sell).

In the same trend, Phu Quy Group listed the price at 112.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 115.4 million VND/tael (sell) instead of 112.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 115.2 million VND/tael (sell).

The buying-selling price range commonly given by businesses is 2-3 million VND/tael.

Yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars initially remained unchanged then increased by VND800,000/tael each way, to VND116.5 million/tael (buy) - VND118.5 million/tael (sell); the price of gold rings "increased" by VND500,000/tael each way.

In the international market, last night's trading session, gold price decreased by 0.1%, down to 3,324.5 USD/ounce, at one point the price dropped to 3,305 USD/ounce.

This morning, the price of precious metals was trading at 3,329.2 USD/ounce as investors turned to this commodity again.

The converted world gold price is about 13.3 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
