Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial General Census Steering Committee, supervisors, team leaders and investigators.

Accordingly, the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in the province mobilized nearly 6,500 participants, including 4,357 investigators directly conducting the survey in 3,995 areas, with a total of 564,895 households subject to the survey.
In Gia Lai (old) alone, there were 2,227 areas, corresponding to 2,227 investigators conducting household surveys, 194 commune surveys and 24 specialized investigators conducting farm surveys. In addition, 218 investigation team leaders were mobilized to coordinate and supervise the implementation.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Phan Quoc Hung - Director of Provincial Statistics, Deputy Head of Provincial Census Steering Committee - emphasized: This year's Census takes place in a special context when the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units according to the Central Resolution is being widely implemented. This is a major policy to streamline the apparatus and improve the effectiveness of state management, but it also poses many challenges for the investigation work, especially at the grassroots level.
The area is larger, some new officers are approaching the area, requiring high determination and close coordination from all levels and sectors, especially the investigation team.

Mr. Phan Quoc Hung suggested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations continue to strengthen propaganda work so that people are clearly aware of the purpose, meaning and importance of the general census.
Commune-level Steering Committee members need to uphold their sense of responsibility, have a firm grasp of their profession, stay close to their locality, and complete their tasks in accordance with regulations, ensuring quality and progress. The results of the general survey are used as a basis for assessing the quality of staff.
In particular, Mr. Hung noted that investigators must seriously collect information and record electronic ballots (CAPI) using tablets or smartphones, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and no errors, in accordance with the regulations of the census.

At the same time, he expected that with the synchronous participation of the entire political system and the efforts of the investigation force, the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in the province will take place seriously, safely, ensuring progress and quality; contributing to providing important data for management and policy making for agricultural and rural development in the coming period.
