According to a survey on the morning of July 14 in the Northern market, the price of live pigs in Bac Ninh decreased by VND 1,000/kg, reaching VND 67,000/kg. Meanwhile, provinces such as Cao Bang, Lang Son and Quang Ninh are trading at around VND 66,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Northern region fluctuates between 66,000 and 67,000 VND/kg, according to traders.

This morning, the live hog market in the Central and Central Highlands regions did not record any changes in prices. Specifically, provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang , Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak continued to maintain stable prices, similar to the previous trading session.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is purchased between 64,000 and 67,000 VND/kg.

Of which, Can Tho and An Giang continue to maintain the highest price in the region, reaching 67,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price of live pigs in the South fluctuates between 64,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Market Outlook: Cautious in Supply Regulation

The clear differentiation between regions requires farmers to closely monitor market developments. In this context, proactively regulating the amount of pigs for sale, combined with controlling input costs and improving the quality of the pig herd, is a key factor to maintain economic efficiency for farmers.
