The price of live pigs today, February 9, 2025, suddenly slowed down after a week of continuous increases of 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg in provinces and cities across the country.

Northern region

Pig prices today (February 9, 2025) in the Northern region recorded a flat price at the end of the week after many consecutive days of increase in some localities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is fluctuating between 68,000 - 71,000 VND/kg, in which, Bac Giang and Hanoi have the highest price of live pigs in the area at 71,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Lao Cai is the only locality in the area with the lowest price of live pigs at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (February 9, 2025) in the Central Highlands region also recorded stable prices after a week of fluctuations in the provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 67,000 - 71,000 VND/kg. Of which, Khanh Hoa province is the locality with the lowest price in the country at 67,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Binh Thuan has the highest price of live pigs in the region at 71,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Along with the above two regions, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 9, 2025) also recorded a slowdown after a week of consecutive price adjustments in the provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 69,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau are the localities with the highest price in the country at 72,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh , Kien Giang, Vinh Long have the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.
