*Pig price in the North:

The North remains stable, the lowest price of 58,000 VND/kg was recorded in Lao Cai, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Son La.

Price of 59,000 VND/kg remains in Ninh Binh, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang , and Thai Nguyen.

The provinces of Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Phu Tho and Hung Yen continue to maintain the highest price in the region at 60,000 VND/kg.

*Pig price in the Central Highlands region:

The Central Highlands - Central region is stable, Lam Dong maintains the highest price in the region at 62,000 VND/kg.

Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Hue and Gia Lai maintain the lowest price in the country: 56,000 VND/kg.

Other provinces maintained stable prices: Da Nang (57,000 VND/kg), Dak Lak (59,000 VND/kg) and Khanh Hoa (60,000 VND/kg).

*Pig price in the Southern region:

The Southern market, which used to hold the highest prices in the country, suddenly recorded some worrying price decreases.

Dong Thap, one of the "hot spots" of the livestock industry, saw the price of live pigs drop by VND1,000/kg, down to VND62,000/kg.

Prices in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long and Can Tho are also at 62,000 VND/kg.

Despite the downward trend, Ca Mau is still the province with the highest pork price nationwide at 63,000 VND/kg.

* Pork prices at supermarkets and retail systems:

According to records in this morning's session, the price of Meat Deli chilled pork from winmart.vn remains unchanged. Currently, the products are being sold for around 119,920 - 163,122 VND/kg and are discounted 20% under the preferential program for members.

Specifically, the listed prices of pork products at WinMart are as follows: ground pork 119,922 VND/kg, lean pork leg 122,320 VND/kg, lean pork shoulder 126,320 VND/kg, lean pork belly 157,520 VND/kg, boneless pork leg 127,922 VND/kg, pork belly 163,122 VND/kg.

A survey this morning showed that pork prices at Ha Hien Fresh Food Company remained almost unchanged, ranging from 89,000 - 190,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the pork products here are priced as follows: pork fat 89,000 VND/kg, lean pork leg 126,000 VND/kg, lean pork shoulder 136,000 VND/kg, old pork ribs 134,000 VND/kg, young pork ribs 190,000 VND/kg, pork belly 166,000 VND/kg, pig tail 176,000 VND/kg.
