Nearly 600 people enthusiastically participated in the Da Nang marine environmental festival

On the morning of April 27, nearly 600 people joined hands to pick up trash and participate in practical activities during the 2025 Da Nang Marine Environment Festival at Nguyen Tat Thanh beach area.

The program is organized by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches in coordination with other organizations with the theme "The sea needs you - You need the sea".

The festival is part of the program "Opening the Da Nang beach tourism season 2025", aiming to raise public awareness about environmental protection, reduce plastic waste, and build the image of a green - clean - beautiful Da Nang beach.

At the event, many practical activities attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate. In particular, the management board launched the marine environmental protection model "The Sea needs You - You need the Sea", calling for the cooperation of agencies, organizations, people and tourists in propaganda, cleaning, and education to raise awareness of marine protection.

At the same time, the "Blue Sea Journey" running program received enthusiastic participation from young people and tourists. The "Exchange trash for trees" model also received positive responses, contributing to spreading the message of waste classification and recycling.

In particular, a general cleaning activity along the beach also took place with the participation of more than 600 volunteers from universities and units in the city.

Mr. Tran Dai Nghia - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches - emphasized: "Protecting the sea is not only protecting the environment but also for life, for the future of our children. Each person should be an environmental ambassador with practical daily actions".
