Most recently, the Government issued Resolution No. 1131/NQ-CP announcing 11 strategic technology product groups that have a profound impact on the country's competitiveness and technological autonomy. FPT has been researching 7/11 of these strategic technology groups, namely AI, Cloud, Blockchain, Robotics and automation, semiconductor chips, network security, and aerospace technology.
According to Mr. Vu Anh Tu, FPT Technology Director, over the past 40 years, FPT has "grown up" along with the development of Vietnamese technology. From the first days of computerizing economic sectors, to automation, digital transformation, and now AI transformation, each step is associated with the aspiration to bring Vietnam further on the world technology map.

In 2024, FPT announced the AI - Sales - Vehicles - Digital - Green strategy (Artificial intelligence, semiconductors, digital automotive technology, digital transformation and green transformation), in which AI is the most important strategic pillar.
For FPT, pursuing AI is not only a long-term strategy but also the ability to quickly catch up with global technological movements. When large language models (LLM) began to explode, FPT quickly built its own Vietnamese model.
As Generative AI becomes the focus, FPT deploys the GenAI platform to serve the specific needs of domestic enterprises. And with AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), FPT is also preparing the first steps to master this technology in the future.
At the same time, the Group also strengthens close connections with the world's leading research centers, universities strong in AI and semiconductors, as well as major technology partners such as Nvidia.
The cooperation not only helps FPT quickly update new technologies, but also creates conditions for the Group to develop products that meet international standards, but are still suitable for the characteristics of Vietnam. Domestically, FPT has introduced AI into the education program from primary to university, with the desire to build a young generation that can quickly access and master new technologies as soon as AI appears.
In 2025, the Group will continue to place strategic focus on AI integration, thereby increasing its global influence and consolidating its position as a leading digital transformation service provider.
