Ford Vietnam recently announced that it will launch the all-electric Mustang Mach-E on August 15. This is one of the events to mark the 30th anniversary of Ford's presence in Vietnam. Although Ford Vietnam has not revealed other information about this model, this information is enough to excite fans of this high-performance all-electric SUV.
Previously, there were 2 Ford Mustang Mach-E electric SUVs imported to Vietnam through unofficial import, 1 car in Hanoi and the other in Ho Chi Minh City. Both cars are Ford Mustang Mach-E GT. When first brought to the Vietnamese market, the car was advertised for sale at a price of up to 4.5 billion VND, then reduced to more than 3 billion VND after 2 years of struggling to find customers.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E was introduced in November 2019, and is a fully electric compact SUV. The Mach-E name is inspired by the Mach 1 variant of the first generation Mustang, a brand that is very famous and popular in the US as well as around the world .
The impressive point of the Ford Mustang Mach-E electric car is the unique LED headlight system in the front and rear of the car, the aggressive front bumper with an additional spoiler and side air vents integrated with horizontal air splitters. In addition, the car also owns a set of 20-inch double-spoke wheels for the front wheels and 21-inch wheels for the rear wheels, with red Brembo brake calipers.
Because it is an electric vehicle, Ford did not equip the Mustang Mach-E with an exhaust system, but also integrated a sporty diffuser with wind tunnels similar to the Ford Mustang.
Mach-E has no door handles, users just need to press the button, the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT door will automatically open, very modern and elegant. The car's interior has 5 seats, super spacious storage space, can hold several large suitcases, golf equipment.
The attractive point of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT version is the powerful electric engine block consisting of 2 electric motors with a total maximum capacity of 480 horsepower and maximum torque of 860 Nm. Thanks to that, the Mustang Mach-E GT is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
The 88 kWh battery pack can help the car run 500 km on a single charge. When connected to a fast charging system, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% within 45 minutes.
