Emirates brings European and Thai travel famtrip groups to Da Nang

DNVN - Da Nang cooperated with 5-star airline Emirates to welcome famtrip groups (survey and acquaintance tours) from Europe and Thailand to survey tourism by flight route Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang.

From June 20 to 23, Da Nang welcomed a European famtrip group of 16 members from key markets such as the UK, Germany, Italy, Russia, etc. via Emirates flights. The group participated in unique cultural and tourism activities such as the DIFF 2025 international fireworks festival, visiting Sun World Ba Na Hills, Hoi An ancient town, and My Son temple complex.

The delegation also experienced vacations at international-class resorts such as Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Premier Village Danang Resort, Hoiana Golf & Resort. At the same time, they participated in connecting B2B trade with local tourism businesses to build new tour products, suitable for the needs of the European market.

Previously, from June 15 to 18, a Thai famtrip delegation of 12 representatives from leading travel companies visited prominent destinations such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Hoi An ancient town, Da Nang Museum; high-end beach resorts Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center. The program aimed to connect with Thai partners to build tour products targeting the high-end customer segment.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang Nguyen Thi Hoai An, the opening of Emirates' new international route Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang from June 2 is an important milestone, opening a strategic bridge between Da Nang and potential markets in Europe and Southeast Asia. Through these famtrip programs, partners will feel more clearly the potential, diversity and quality of Da Nang's tourism services, thereby promoting many opportunities for sustainable cooperation in the future.

Sharing his impressions of the experiences during the survey trip in Da Nang, from the natural landscape, cultural heritage to the quality of service at high-end resorts, Mr. Sayed Shariq Shah (Moresand Company), representative of the European famtrip delegation, said that the delegation wished to have more time to continue exploring more destinations in the city and surrounding areas.

According to him, local Destination Management Companies (DMCs) play a very important role in building specialized, high-quality tourism products that suit the tastes of European tourists. He hopes to have close cooperation with these companies in bringing visitors from Europe to Da Nang.
