This morning (June 9), at the exam site of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, many people were moved by the image of a second grade girl waiting for her brother outside the school gate, her eyes full of anticipation. She was the younger sister of candidate Nguyen Manh Duc, Dich Vong Hau Secondary School, Cau Giay District.

During the 10th grade entrance exam - an important turning point after 9 years of hard work and effort, Duc always brought his younger sister along, considering her as a "lucky charm" to help him stay mentally stable and confident in each exam.

Before each exam, the two brothers usually ride their familiar bicycles to the exam site early. When Duc enters the exam room, his sister is left with volunteers or parents who are helping outside. A while later, their mother rides her bike to pick up her daughter, waiting for her son to finish the exam.

Duc and his sister are close friends, often playing together, studying together, sharing small stories of daily life. Although she is only a second grader, Duc's sister is a great spiritual support, helping her brother relieve the pressure of studying and taking exams.

"Every time before entering the exam room, my sister holds my hand and wishes me good luck. At that moment, all my worries disappear," Duc shared. His sister is a source of positive energy, giving him confidence in the most important moments.

While waiting for her brother to take the exam, Duc's little sister was fed breakfast and happily chatted with by her parents. The image of a little child patiently waiting and silently supporting her brother spread positive emotions in the middle of a stressful exam morning.

After completing the entrance exams to grade 10 public schools, Duc said he was quite satisfied. The male student assessed that the exams for Math, Literature, and English this year were quite suitable and closely followed the program. Duc expressed confidence in his first choice to enter Yen Hoa High School - the school with the highest "competition" ratio in Hanoi this year (1/2.44).

This year, 10X also tried his hand at the entrance exam to the IT specialized class. Duc admitted that the specialized exam was more difficult than previous years. However, with serious preparation and a strong spirit, the male student still completed the exam and hopes to achieve good results, possibly reaching the gate of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
