Weather forecast April 6, 2025: Thunderstorms in the North on Hung Kings' Anniversary

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, weather developments during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday (April 6-7):

Northern mountainous areas are cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain. On April 6, there will be some places experiencing heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, and some places experiencing over 50mm.

The Northern Midlands, Delta and North Central regions are cloudy with rain and light rain.

The Central and South Central regions are cloudy, sunny during the day, with rain in some places in the late afternoon and night.

The Central Highlands and the South are cloudy, sunny during the day, and hot in some places.

The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.

Weather in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho - where the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony is solemnly held: April 6 (March 9 of the lunar calendar) will have rain, 80% chance of rain, temperature 21-25 degrees. April 7 (March 10 of the lunar calendar) will have rain, 75% chance of rain, temperature 22-26 degrees.

Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Light winds. Thunderstorms with possible tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts. Cold early morning and night.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 23-26 degrees.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

Cloudy in the north with some rain; cloudy in the south, sunny during the day, showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Northeast to east wind level 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees. Highest temperature: 28-31 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, sunny during the day, hot in some places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Northeast to east wind level 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 19-22 degrees. Highest temperature: 31-34, some places over 35 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, sunny during the day, some places are hot, especially in the East; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night in some places. Northeast to east wind level 2-3.
