Dong Nai currently has nearly 3,000 FDI enterprises in operation, with about 10,000 foreigners residing and working, the need for level 2 mobile phone accounts is very large. In this situation, the Provincial Police proactively proposed the Immigration Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) to support the early deployment of specialized software; at the same time, organize professional training for officers and soldiers, and start testing the software from June 29.

In particular, to support foreigners who are not fluent in Vietnamese, the Immigration Department has arranged for officers who are fluent in English, Chinese, Korean, etc. to directly support and translate, helping to shorten the time for procedures and increase satisfaction levels.

According to Dong Nai Provincial Police, granting level 2 mobile phone accounts to foreigners not only contributes to completing the population database, reforming administrative procedures, ensuring security, but also supports them to integrate smoothly into the digital environment in Vietnam. The unit is continuing to strengthen coordination with businesses, industrial parks and international organizations to ensure that all eligible foreigners are granted mobile phone accounts in the coming time.
