Dong Nai Traffic Police support people to travel safely during the holidays

(DN)- On August 30, the Traffic Police Department, Dong Nai Provincial Police launched many practical activities to support people to travel safely during the National Day holiday, September 2.

This year's National Day holiday lasts 4 days (from August 30 to September 2), it is expected that people and vehicles will flock to national highways such as: 1, 13, 14, 20, 51, 56 and expressways. To ensure traffic safety and order, the Traffic Police Department has mobilized the maximum number of personnel and vehicles, coordinated patrols and controls. Forces have been deployed in key areas to direct and regulate traffic from a distance, proactively preventing congestion.

In addition to ensuring smooth traffic, the traffic police force also carried out a meaningful activity of distributing free mineral water and cold towels to people. This activity was carried out on key traffic routes continuously on August 30 and September 2 to support people on their journey home, travel and return to cities to work.

At the same time, the traffic police also stepped up propaganda work, reminding people to strictly comply with regulations such as: Do not drive after drinking alcohol; wear helmets properly; keep a safe distance; drive at the right speed, in the right lane... According to the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police, these measures aim to minimize potential risks, especially violations of alcohol concentration, speeding and driving in the wrong lane.

Along with that, to create conditions for people to have a safe and smooth holiday, implementing a remote traffic diversion plan to resolve traffic congestion in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring localities, the traffic police force has arranged its personnel, promptly grasped and informed the traffic order and safety situation on the route they are responsible for to coordinate in regulating and diverting traffic. The Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Provincial Police will proactively contact the professional departments under the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security to coordinate in implementing the remote traffic diversion plan.
