NDO - On the afternoon of November 13, the Central Propaganda Department's working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, visited and directed the Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Fair and Exhibition at the Cultural and Cinema Center ( Hue City).

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia and delegates visited the exhibition area displaying the history of 61 years of special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

Joining the delegation were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thua Thien Hue Province Le Truong Luu; Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam, Head of the Steering Committee of the Program "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" and leaders of the Central Propaganda Department; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related ministries, departments and branches and Thua Thien Hue Province. The Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Fair - Exhibition is an activity in a series of events under the Program " Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province in Hue City from November 11 to 15.

At the exhibition, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia once again affirmed the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Since the establishment of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962), the relationship between the two countries has achieved many achievements in all fields and has become a great friendship, special tradition and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. The program "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Day 2023" was solemnly organized with the participation of many central and local ministries, branches and people of the two countries. This is an important event, contributing to further enhancing the special and rare traditional relationship between the two countries. The photo exhibition at the "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" brings together more than 200 photos, divided into 4 themes: History of 61 years of Vietnam-Laos special friendship; Vietnam and Laos on the path of development; Outstanding achievements in Vietnam-Laos cooperation in the field of information and communication; Thua Thien Hue accompanies the country's development.

The Fair - Exhibition "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" attracted nearly 60 booths, organized with the highlight being the booths of information publications, media programs in Lao language of Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam Radio , Vietnam.vn National External Information Portal. In addition, there is also the companionship of information technology and telecommunications enterprises such as Viettel Global, VNPT, VTC; enterprises operating in the fields of tourism, trade... with typical OCOP products of Hue and the provinces and cities of the Central region participating in the fair. The program "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" is organized with a series of meaningful events, demonstrating the close friendship between the people of the two countries, including: Photo exhibition, Fair - exhibition, scientific seminar and cultural and artistic exchange activities between Vietnam and Laos... The festival has attracted the attention of many people in Thua Thien Hue province, and is a widespread political activity, contributing to raising citizens' awareness and responsibility for preserving and developing the especially good relationship between the two Parties, States and peoples of Vietnam and Laos.
